Yeah! What a great sequence of chords and nice textures! Also great modern mix! Personally would like some warmer low mids but for the style of modern retro jazz/swing it works great. really enjoyed it thanks for sharing!

Shufflehound responds:

Thank you! I tend to mix rather "woolly" while making the song which I then compensate with a slight treble EQ in mastering, although possibly too much this time around!

Beautiful Stuff! Real nice playing! Front page deserved! ;)

Thomastique responds:

Thanks so much man 🤩

Oh yeah that 80s gated reverb snare! would of liked a bit more bite from the snare and pierce through the mix more! Nice composition though very enjoyable to listen to! cheers!

Alyctro responds:

Thanks for your opinion!

Wow wonderful composition! really great i love it! the only thing i could give as criticism is maybe the mixing. The "Big and powerful" parts feel like they are missing body sounds little thin, but that is just my opinion. Otherwise a wonderful piece thank you! looking forward to hearing more from you!

LazerwingMusic responds:

I noticed the bad mixing too. I was never really good at mixing my electronic stuff either. I hope next time I can manage my arrangement better so these problems won't show up. I've still got a lot to learn :)

loving the ambience in this, definitely fits the title! stirs emotion alright

CylrielOfficial responds:

thank you bro :D

Wow real nice! Really amazing work! i would rate more than 5* if i could. gave me more a forest feel than an underwater feel but as a piece of music it is truly remarkable wow! those samples you are using are sound incredible and amazing work on making them feel real and authentic! you really did an amazing job! can't wait to hear more from you!

Everratic responds:

Thank you for the nice review!

I get what you mean by the forest vibes. I think there's some overlap with how I tried to depict certain underwater scenes and how one might depict forest scenes.

I'm using a few good sample libraries, but for the most part, I composed to the strengths of the libraries, which makes them seem better than they are. I have a few really good ones though, including Joshua Bell Violin and Rhapsody Orchestral Percussion.

I listened to some of your work and enjoyed it a lot as well :)

nice work!

RealMrSnuggles responds:

Thank you!

Real pretty! i really enjoyed this. i could see this in a chill platforming game.

FirechompGD responds:

thanks!

Man nailed the horror suspense feels! Amazing work really like it! Only criticism i would have is the mixing/production. little over compressed when beat drops feels small and narrow, snare needs to be more in your face too more bite! But on the composition side of things spot on! great work!

Tulvadar responds:

Thank you so much for your advice and comments. I will do my best to apply those ideas to my next song. It would mean so much to me if you could listen to some of my previous songs and tell me what you think. Cheers! <3

Awesome i can see this in an action RPG for sure sounds great! nice work

1zin1 responds:
